
The silver plate is 100% with no dents or scratches other than a few small blemishes in the plating on the leadpipe and tuning slide of the instrument. The photos reflect the true luster of this fine trumpet. Only a short way down the serial number ranges Zigmant Kanstul switched to a non-conventional design with multiple interchangeable leadpipes.

The design of this particular trumpet is rather unique as only a few were produced with a standard fixed leadpipe configuration. The workmanship and attention to fine detail is extraordinary as can be seen in the accompanying photos. This trumpet has a serial number in the mid-400’s range. This is one of the earliest instruments that Kanstul produced when he acquired the F Besson tools and dies from the Paris Factory in the early 1980’s and is very rare.
